The Effect of Microplastic Pollution on Symbiotic Bacteria within the Marine Sponge, Halichondria panicea
This research looks at the effect microplastic pollution can have on the viability of symbiotic bacteria within the main sponge, Hali-chondria panicea, to understand if future pharmaceutical discoveries derived from preexisting antibacterial compounds may be limited.
