Farah Hamouda

Graduate Student

Farah Hamouda is in a second year Sociology Ph.D. student and College of Arts & Sciences Fellow with research interests in environmental sociology, Middle Eastern studies, political sociology, indigeneity, state violence, and religion.  Her recent work at the intersecion of environmenteal sociology and social control uses both quantitative and qualitative approaches, including media analysis.  Farah received her B.S. in Sociology and minor in Political Science from the University of Utah in 2021.
