Dan Cornfield, Chancey Herbolsheimer, and Savannah Bastian Present at Innovating Institutions and Inequities in the Arts Conference

Dan Cornfield, Chancey Herbolsheimer, and Savannah Bastian presented their invited paper, “In Pursuit of Cultural Equity: DEI Grantmaking Practices of U.S. Local Arts Agencies in Community Context,” at an international conference on “Innovating Institutions and Inequities in the Arts.”  The conference was sponsored by the Arts, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Lab, Center for Cultural Affairs, O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, Indiana University, and the National Endowment for the Arts Research Lab program in Indianapolis on June 7-8, 2022.   Their paper reported the results of a research project supported by a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts (Dan Cornfield, PI; Alexandre Frenette, co-PI) and the Vanderbilt University Curb Center for Art, Enterprise, and Public Policy in partnership with Americans for the Arts.
