Marcelo Disconzi, Associate Professor of Mathematics, was awarded a Chancellor Faculty Fellowship. In his recent work, he has developed a new mathematical formalism that bridges the long-standing divide between the laws of thermodynamics and Einstein’s general theory of relativity.
