How can leaders create a culture where everyone feels they are valued and where everyone can and will meaningfully contribute? Students will explore this topic during this two-part Inclusive Leadership workshop.
Part 1: Navigating Difficult Conversations
Participants will be will introduce foundational concepts of communication and dialogue across difference that will serve as helpful tools, skills and knowledge for students to lead effectively.
Part 2: Inclusive Leadership
Participants will focus on best practices when it comes to leading inclusively, and will incorporate interactive activities to help students engage in intentional reflection around leadership style that centers care, inclusion and social justice.
This workshop is open to all graduate school students (PhD, MA, MFS, MLAS & MS) and postdocs. Spaces for this workshop are limited and registration is required.
