While the terms “Leadership” and “Management” are commonly used synonymously, there exist significant differences between them. Leaders and managers perform entirely different functions and apply distinct approaches to work. However, there are areas of overlap. During this workshop, participants will:
- Understand the behavioral differences between leaders and managers
- Learn the functional divergence between leaders and managers
- How leadership and management overlap
This workshop is open to all graduate school students (PhD, MA, MFS, MLAS & MS) and postdocs.
