Vanderbilt PhD. Graduate in French, Abby Broughton, appointed as Assistant Professor of French at MTSU
Abby Broughton will begin her tenure track role as Assistant Professor of French in the Department of World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at Middle Tennessee State University August 1, 2022. After her 2020 Graduation, Abby accepted a position as Assistant Professor of French (NTT) at High Point University in High Point, NC, then she taught as a Lecturer at MTSU. Broughton’s 2020 Dissertation under the direction of Professor Virginia Scott was entitled “Social Reading: Developing a Multi-Literate Community in the French Classroom.”
