Posted by on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 in Past Events.

On Monday, April 20th in Buttrick Hall, there will be an event celebrating the publication of the book Lenn E. Goodman: Judaism, Humanity, and Nature (Brill, 2014). The program begins at 4:30 pm with a light reception in the Buttrick Atrium.  Beginning at 5:00 pm in Buttrick room 101, Danielle Pressner (Principal of the Akiva School in Nashville) and Professor Alan Mittleman (Professor of Jewish Thought at the Jewish Theological Seminary, New York) will deliver brief remarks discussing Lenn Goodman’s philosophy.  Their presentations will be followed by a short reply by Lenn Goodman, and a question and answer period.  The event will conclude at 7 pm.

The event is free and open to the public, and is sponsored by the Philosophy Department, the Program in Jewish Studies, and the Dean’s Office.
