Biography

Ningyu Zhang joined the Teachable Agents Group in Fall 2014 as a graduate student pursuing an MS degree in computer science and was admitted to the Ph.D. program in 2015. Ningyu maintains and develops new content units for the CTSiM project. He also uses machine learning and data analytics approaches to characterize and understand students’ complex and dynamic learning activities in open-ended learning environments.

Ningyu graduated from Vanderbilt’s Peabody College of Education in May 2014 with a Masters of Education degree. His research interests also include intelligent learning environments, learning analytics, and machine learning.
