Facilities University

Facilities University is a series of 6 classes that educate the Vanderbilt Community on how the facilities department supports the university and the FutureVU initiative.  Attendees take a deeper look at the five facilities departments (Plant Operations, Business Operations, Vanderbilt University Real Estate, Sustainability and Environmental Management Office and Strategic Initiatives) and how they work together to support Vanderbilt’s large vision.  Each Facilities U class includes hands-on activities such as a grounds and powerhouse tour.  Facilities U is a total of 6 sessions, and although attendance is not mandatory it is highly encouraged that you attend all 6 sessions.  Classes are held in person at the Baker Building on Wednesdays from 11:00am-1:00pm.  We welcome you to join us in our next session as we unleash new possibilities.
