OVERVIEW
The Vanderbilt Writing Studio provides all members of Vanderbilt’s scholarly community the chance to improve their writing, critical thinking and communication skills. Through our one-on-one consultations, we aim to serve undergraduates from the time of their first college essay until they apply to the jobs or programs that await them after Vanderbilt, and we serve graduate students and faculty grappling to get their research onto the page and into publication. Across all these groups and from every corner of campus, writers meeting with our undergraduate and graduate consultants receive constructive feedback and the support to develop strategies for all stages of the writing process.

While putting their talents and training to use helping their fellow writers, our consultants experience an incredible learning opportunity of their own, an opportunity that led one of our former consultants to remark:
