Statement of Solidarity with the AAPI Community
The Department of Gender and Sexuality Studies expresses its solidarity with Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities in the wake of increased violence and hatred directed at them. We are committed to combatting the misogyny, homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia many AAPI face. The safety and inclusion of all people and all their intersectional identities must be a priority in a just and inclusive society.
