Sam Palazzolo

Sam Palazzolo brings a wealth of expertise to his client base, composed of Fortune 100, Mid-Cap, and Startup companies.  A hands-on C-suite leader, he brings a unique blend of expertise to the daily challenges of leadership/business under pressure. Sam acts as Managing Director at Tip of the Spear Ventures, a Private Equity/Venture Capital and Business Advisory Services firm he established in 2012. In addition to his work at Tip, he founded The Javelin Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing Executive Education through Leadership Development and Executive Coaching programs. He also acts as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) where he annually instructs an Executive Education course based on his fifth book (“Leading at the Tip of the Spear: The Leader” published 2018). Prior to this he led and successfully exited a Technology Startup, was a Regional Director for Toyota, a Senior Consultant at AON/Hewitt, and one of the first-200 team members involved with General Motors’ SATURN Corporation.

 

Sam earned his Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in Business Economics & Public Policy from Indiana University and a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) degree from Vanderbilt University (He has completed additional Graduate studies at the University of Texas and the University of Michigan). Mr. Palazzolo holds several professional certifications and sits on several Board of Directors for business organizations and professional associations.

Bernadette Cabrera

Bernadette brings over 15 years of experience as a trusted coach, advisor and consultant to executives globally. From building a Risk Consulting Practice in Asia, to being the Chief of Staff for the Consulting CEO, and to leading the People and Organizational Change practice specializing in Financial Services – she has proven to have the necessary experience and perspective to navigate the complex world of leading a global business.

 

Bernadette leverages her extensive business experience to inform her coaching work. Her work experience, particularly with one of the largest global consulting firms, has been characterized by impactful transitions that elevated her business and cultural acumen. She has helped global organizations go through change management, leadership alignment, organizational design, culture alignment, strategic communications, and development programs.

John Reed PhD, MBA, MCEC, PCC

John is known as one of most skilled and qualified executive and leadership coaches. John helps capable people excel further, working with senior leaders, boards, executive teams, entrepreneurs and other professionals. When working with John you will experience a sharp focus on setting and reaching ROI and coaching goals. He sees himself as an experienced MBA with additional psychological skills to help clients better understand themselves and their coworkers. John is expert in helping clients see themselves accurately and then move forward effectively, better managing perceptions and strengthening leadership behaviors to set themselves apart.

He has been a Managing Principal since 2005 at Quinn Reed Associates (www.quinnreedassociates.com).  He is designated as a Master Coach by Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching, a Master Corporate Executive Coach by the MEECO Leadership Institute and a Professional Certified Coach by the International Coach Federation. He is a Navy veteran with an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth, an AB from Dartmouth College and, as a licensed organizational psychologist, a PhD from the University of Georgia. He previously worked in the strategy practice of Accenture and the public-sector practice of CGI.

Bringing more than 25 years of experience in management, consulting and coaching to her clients, Sue enables organizations and individuals to achieve strategic goals through increased focus, accountability and measurement disciplines.  Client engagements include executive coaching, strategic business planning, team facilitation and the design and execution of learning and development programs.

Sue’s personal business experiences at Arthur Andersen, DigitalThink, and as an entrepreneur managing a specialty medical practice has afforded her opportunities to work across a variety of industries and cultures.  Sue has cultivated a love of client service, a love of learning, and ultimately a love of coaching.  Sue is skilled in administrating assessments to increase self-awareness and extend leadership agility through improved relationships and team-building. Clients have extended from entrepreneurial start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.  Sue has also been a leader in a number of non-profit organizations and currently serves on the Board of the International Coach Federation (ICF), New York City Chapter.

Founder and President of Skybound Coaching & Training, Glenn hosts the “Dare to Fly Higher Podcast,” and creates content for the Skybound blog, YouTube Channel and online courses, in addition to writing for Forbes.com.  Prior to being a full-time entrepreneur, Glenn worked as Chief Marketing Officer for the Houston Symphony, in which he led a team of over 20 marketing, PR and customer service professionals, was responsible for $10 million in revenue, and spearheaded the complete rebranding of the institution in celebration of its centennial.

Glenn is an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF), and has his Masters of Science in Organizational Development and Leadership.  He coaches, teaches and facilitates coach training for entities including Rice University, Vanderbilt University and University of Houston.  He serves on the board for the Houston Chapter of the International Coach Federation (ICF).

Janet Walls

Janet is President and Founder of Delta Blvd, a management consulting and executive coaching company she founded in 2007. Janet coaches executives, business owners, and entrepreneurs in the areas of strategy, leadership development, and professional growth. She has more than thirty years experience in finance and operations including roles as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Operations. Janet received a B.B.A. in Accounting and a M.Ed. in Learning and Organizational Change from Belmont University. She serves as an Adjunct Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship at Belmont University, an adjunct lecturer of Management at Vanderbilt University and as a Leadership Development Coach at Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. Janet and her husband are both Nashville natives and currently reside in Franklin, TN where they enjoy hiking, traveling, and music.

Donna B. Yurdin, SPHR

Donna has over 35 years of business experience in corporate leadership and consulting. As an executive coach and performance consultant, Donna utilizes her experience, expertise, and knowledge to bring effective solutions to individuals, teams, and organizations seeking to enhance leadership effectiveness, team engagement, and individual achievement. Donna has been a coach for the Owen program since the beginning, working with MBA and MMHC students to understand the results of their assessments and put new awareness of self into a framework for reaching professional goals.

In addition to individual coaching, Donna works with leaders in aligning what is important for the organization achieving success with how individuals can contribute most effectively. Her expertise extends to assessing culture, developing inclusion strategies, leadership development training, mentoring programs, and change management strategies.
