I rotated through an imitation bloodworm,<br \/>\na light green glo worm, and a purple teardrop most of the morning.<br \/>\nPerch aren\u2019t that big, so we didn\u2019t use poles.<br \/>\nBrendan didn\u2019t even use gloves.<\/p>\n<p>The first bite came before noon: an 8-incher, decent<br \/>\nfor January but no trophy.
