He wags,<br \/>\nKeeps his mouth shut and stretches.<\/p>\n<p>His brown and white jaw locks shut; not like<br \/>\nThe mouths of chatty people.<\/p>\n<p>Not like yappy dogs with eyes<br \/>\nLike marble-smashers.  Those eyes<\/p>\n<p>Spin at every target.  The tongues that wave like purple flags<br \/>\nIn used car lots or at the funerals of civic leaders.<\/p>\n<p>If this pit-bull wore a bowler hat and a v-neck<br \/>\nAt the card table, like in a famous painting,<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019d talk to him.
