dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">at midnight, toasting<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the tired orbit of time<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">swearing on dry-January<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">confetti fall in my champagne;<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">mini meteors. all round me,<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the boys are kissing<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the year farewell, but I<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">cursed to circle alone.<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">how heavy we are,<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the poet and I,<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">carrying ourselves, endlessly<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">dizzy, and like the earth<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">yearning for friction,<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">for another body to inch close,<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">to rub against,<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">to grab and grind to a stop,<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">to spark, to combust,<\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">and go dim just as
