Artist’s Statement:<\/p>\n

Elliot<\/span><\/span>‘s art is focused on his individual experience of being queer and transgender, capturing the essences of his identity as well as feelings of deep love for those around him. He has been a lifelong artist, working in different media over the years such as crochet, knitting, drawing, painting, and printmaking. He began knitting in 2009, his craft evolving over the years until intersecting with his love for visual art in late 2019. Using primarily the technique of double knitting, he\u00a0creates works of art that give off a sense of comfort and warmth, contributing to his themes of love, wonder, and connection with others.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
