The father looks through<\/p>\n<p>the daughter, believing her face is another<\/p>\n<p>language. The father says the irises are<\/p>\n<p>blooming nicely this year. The daughter,<\/p>\n<p>relieved by this shard of lucidity, says<\/p>\n<p>the irises survived the late frost. The father<\/p>\n<p>says the irises are the boy\u2019s clothes<\/p>\n<p>emptied from the thaw. The daughter says,<\/p>\n<p>remember me.
