without<\/span><\/i>. nothing above but a billboard:

I walk through grass in a shell of gold nobody,
\n<\/span>down into green delirium. a no one, until a naked\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

bird at my feet, tangled in thistle. swollen
\n<\/span>like butcher meat wrapped tight in plastic,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

& downed skin toxic to touch. corpse small
\n<\/span>enough to make the size of my hands cruel.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

as if it can still promise a second try,
\n<\/span>its own rare world, I ask a dead thing<\/span><\/p>\n
