Apple trees grow<br \/>\noranges while nobody\u2019s watching, while everyone\u2019s<\/p>\n<p>asleep. Hundreds of miles away, in the hospital, a girl<br \/>\ndies slowly, spitting at her doctors\u2019 hands. Weeks later,<\/p>\n<p>she goes home. <em>I don\u2019t know how it happened. I didn\u2019t mean<br \/>\nto survive<\/em>.
