Further Reading: A Conversation with Israeli Artist Rami Maymon, November 9, 1pm CST

Rami Maymon is an Israeli artist who lives and works in Tel Aviv. He is a faculty member at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem and former chair of the Midrasha’s Photography Department in Beit-Berl. He is the recipient of many awards, including the Lauren and Mitchell Presser Photography Award for a Young Israeli Artist, the Rudin Prize from the Norton Museum of Art in Florida, the Israeli Lottery Council for Culture and Art Award, The Critics’ Choice Award in the Radical-Young Festival, Munich, and the Joshua Rabinowitz Foundation Prize for the Arts. Maymon has held solo exhibitions in numerous art galleries and museums around the world, including at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, the Norton Museum of Art, Florida, The Mishkan Museum of Art in Kibbutz Ein Harod, the 12th Biennale of Contemporary Art in Naples and the Helena Rubinstein Pavilion in Tel Aviv.  Find him on Instagram @ramimaymon
