Competition Logistics

We are excited to announce that the 2023 National MBA Human Capital Case Competition will be held at Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management in Nashville, TN on September 29-30, 2023. More details are below:

Case Information

Cases will be distributed via email one week before the competition on September 22nd, 2023. Each team captain will receive an email that includes the competition case and associated case questions. Teams will then have the next week to prepare recommendations and their presentation.

Travel Recommendations

When considering travel options, please note that all team members must be present in Nashville from 7:30am CST on Friday (9/29) to 1:00pm CST on Saturday (9/30). In addition, we will be hosting an optional networking happy hour on Thursday evening (9/28) from 7:00 – 9:00pm CST.

For flights, Nashville’s Airport (BNA) is very accessible and services most national carriers (including Southwest, American, United, and Delta).

For lodging, we recommend staying within walking distance of the Owen Graduate School of Management, located at 401 21st Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203. Please note that Vanderbilt is not able to offer parking to HCCC participants, and parking is very limited in the area.
