Celebrating the 2019 Graduates

The Graduate School was honored to celebrate its recent group of graduates on May 10.  In the 2018-2019 academic  year, 474 degrees were awarded by the Graduate School;  70 Master’s and 178 PhD graduates joined Dean Wallace and Graduate School staff in the diploma ceremony held on Magnolia Lawn.

Dean Wallace asked of the new graduates, “Go out now and spread Vanderbilt values by making the world a more civil, compassionate, inclusive, tolerant, thoughtful and hopeful – in sum a better – place to live and work.”

The Graduate School wishes much success to all its graduates in their future endeavors.
