Related Components

Certain courses are comprised of multiple components: lecture and lab, lecture and discussion, etc. During the enrollment process, the registration system will prompt students to select one section of each type of component. All components must be open in order for a student to be successfully enrolled in a multi-component course. If any components are in wait list status, the student will be placed on the wait list for all components.

Once successfully enrolled in all components, it is necessary to use the swap function in YES in order to change any of the related components. For instructions, see the Swap Associated Component User Guide.
