Vanderbilt Hosts Green Dot Institute

Vanderbilt University is hosting a Green Dot Institute on campus July 12-15, 2016. Vanderbilt University faculty and staff are invited to complete this four-day training in order to become Green Dot bystander intervention facilitators on our campus.

Who Should Apply: Faculty and staff who have regular interaction with students and who are prepared to offer at least two of the full-length, six-hour Green Dot trainings per year. Other opportunities for involvement with the University’s Green Dot Committee include attending quarterly Green Dot Committee meetings, offering 1-hour Green Dot overview programs to students, faculty, and staff across campus, and assisting with Green Dot Awareness Week each semester. Attendees must be able to attend each day in full in order to earn your certification.

When: July 12, 13, 14, and 15. This training will run from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM each day. Lunch will be on your own each day from 12:00-1:00 PM.

Cost: Vanderbilt faculty and staff may attend the training at no charge, although you will still need to complete the online registration form.

Where: Vanderbilt University Student Life Center and the Kissam Center in the Warren & Moore Colleges
