Congrats to May’s STARS Recipients

STARS card is about showing your fellow DOS staff that you noticed the work they do and you are taking a moment to thank them! Twelve individuals and two departments (AMS’s and Security Team) were recognized this month for their outstanding contributions:

AMS’s and Security Team: “For all of the behind scenes work you do to make the buildings function.  You are the best!”

Andrea Ramos-Lewis: “your thoughtful response to a recent crisis.  An exemplary professional performance.”

Annetta Pickett: “always helping out, being there when needed, and having a good attitude”

Anthony Sierra: “taking the lead in closing Towers”

Bill Gilliam: “managing moisture issues for students on Alumni Lawn, especially Vandy/Barnard.  You made an impossible situation manageable.”

Brian Craig: “providing outstanding service to the faculty and students in your area.  You do an exemplary job every day.”

Bryan Masters: “quick help with the PCI Comp!  Thanks!”

Chris Reed: “working through all the summer projects and helping me gather everything for the proper approval”

Erika Larson: “a semester in your new leadership role where you have done so much for OACS, and for being such a capable leader.  Thank you.”

Jeff King: “coordinating the Black Graduate Recognition Celebration – a wonderful event!”

Jessica Posey: “Thank you for all of your work on PCI Compliance!  Thanks for stepping up and taking the lead.”

Karen Burnett: “your extraordinary assistance in setting everything up for Dean Caldwell’s Retirement Party.  The room was amazing, and you did a wonderful job coordinating it.”

Kehsi Iman Wilson: “assistance and excellence; especially for helping the BCC”

Kristin Torrey: “helping coordinate Steve Caldwell’s retirement celebration.  You helped make it a powerful and moving program.”

Martha Harris: “organizing Steve Caldwell’s retirement party.  It was a wonderful event!”  AND “the excellence of Steve’s retirement party.”

Matt Sinclair: “your sensitive and professional handling of a recent crisis”

Meagan Smith: “managing the Nichols and VIEW projects in such a mindful and caring way and for keeping the projects on track.  Thank you!”
