Turnip Green Creative Reuse
The newest season of Project Runway is under way, and it’s happening right here at the Curb Center! This week, the Scholars were visited by artist Lindsay Goranson to help get started thinking about their designs and the materials they might need — an especially tricky job since they have to use all reused material. So, to see what was available, the group trekked to East Nashville to visit Turnip Green Creative Reuse, where they were greeted by Executive Director Leah Sherry. After receiving a tour of Turnip Green, the Scholars broke into two teams and set off to hunt for the reused materials that would take their designs to the runway!
