Fort Houston

January 18, 2016

The Curb Scholars took a trip to Fort Houston, a local maker space. One of the owners gave us a tour of their facilities, which included a metal shop, a screen-printing press, a mechanical shop for working on motorcycles, and a wood-working shop. Fort Houston has about eighty members who pay a monthly fee to use the space and machinery. We were then given a demonstration in how to operate the screen-printing press and printed t-shirts with the Coffee and Company logo.
