Curb Scholar Spotlight: Tony Maina

Curb Scholar Tony Maina presented challenges for discussion regarding a company he started, along with a team, last summer in his hometown of Nairobi, Kenya. He told the story of the company, an online supply-shopping service for businesses, from its beginnings, and described how he and his team tweaked their original ideas to increase their success and more particularly identify need. The Scholars helped Tony brainstorm solutions to several challenges he anticipates as he prepares to return to Kenya to continue work on his company.
The Scholars then shared updates on several ongoing projects, including Coffee & Company, and suggested next steps. The Scholars also discussed plans for their final three meetings of the year, including the end of the year celebration.
