Graduate Student - Human and Organizational Development
Sara is a fourth year Ph.D. student in Community Research and Action. She explores the intersections of religion, race, and community development, with a focus on how socially progressive Christian development organizations engage issues of race, racism, and power. Her current projects, which are grounded in Critical Studies frameworks and employ qualitative methodology, seek to explore how narratives of racial reconciliation function to disrupt and/or reproduce racial inequity. Originally from Seattle, WA, Sara loves to hike and explore the great outdoors, drinks proper British tea from Yorkshire, and is attempting to grow succulents.
