Vandy Debate at Loyola-Chicago
The weekend of February 21-22, Vanderbilt Debate to Loyola-Chicago for a British Parliamentary Debate Tournament. In a field that included teams from the University of Chicago, Loyola, and the University of Denver, to name a few, Vanderbilt had two teams in finals (Erich Remiker and Will Newell; Sael Soni and Matthew Sohn). Erich Remiker was named the co-top speaker at the tournament and Matthew Sohn was named the top novice speaker.
Next weekend, the team will travel to King’s College in New York to compete in another British Parliamentary tournament.
