“Hi, I’m Jonathan — a sports enthusiast with a curious mind for new hobbies and ideas. Over time, I’ve taken up wood working, cooking, running, and playing the piano. My secret wish (until now) is to become a European history expert! I try to live by the Gordon B Hinckley maxim: “Cultivate an attitude of happiness. Cultivate a spirit of optimism.” … I was drawn to Vanderbilt Biostatistics for the welcoming learning environment and for how the faculty and teachings opened (and continue to open) my thinking to new approaches to statistics I hadn’t considered in my previous undergrad, masters, and work in statistics.”
