Vanderbilt Art faculty listed among authors at 2019 Southern Festival of Books
Senior lecturer in Art, Farrar Hood Cusomato, was one of the authors/panelist presenting during the 2019 Southern Festival of Books events during October 11-13, 2019 in Nashville.
Cusomato worked on the the development of the book, National Parks Conservation Association: A Century of Impact, a collected history of the NPCA, a nonprofit and nonpartisan organization with a mission to protect and maintain the standards of the National Parks in the United States.
A Century of Impact celebrates 100 years of advocacy that has helped shape the National Parks System.
During the 2019 Southern Festival of Books event, Cusomato was joined by Robin Hood, Lauren Hood, and Whit Stiles on a panel discussing the book and NPCA.

Lauren Hood, BFA FIl, Pratt Institute, New York 2008. Currently director of the Media Center – Film, Photography and Fine Arts, Watkins College of Art, Nashville, TN and Digital Media Director for Grandin Hood books.
Farrar Hood Cusomato, BA Fine Arts, Sewanee University 1998, MFA Painting and Art History, Pratt Institute, New York 2006. Currently, she is a senior lecturer, teaching painting in the Department of Art at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN.
White Stiles, Bachelor of Music, Belmont University, Nashville, TN 2005. He is the author of numerous Grandin Hood books, a national award-wining advertising copywriter, and a recording studio musician.
